We had a great time on the private tour of the Louvre!

Great guide and great tour. I love art, so I took this private guided tour with a friend for the first time. We went through the museum without stress. It's great for me that with the guide we didn't have to do much research and think about which side to go - a huge help for us. There is so much to see, learn... I feel almost like an art expert now! After the tour, I went back to watch the "Hermaphrodite Endormi" - still can't believe that the mattress beneath the Hermaphrodite is made of marble... We'll definitely come to the museum again and then navigate on our own without any problems. All in all, a great tour to remember!

A private tour of the Louvre is the way to go!

You come to the Louvre once in your life, right? Now that we've gone through everything in detail, I can't imagine doing it alone. It's possible, sure, but with the largest museum in the world, a private guide just made sense. Now, I can truly say that we experienced the Louvre. Emily, our guide, was fantastic - friendly and clearly informed. Of course, I saw the Mona Lisa, but I was most impressed by "Liberty Leading the People" and "Psyche Revived by Cupid's Kiss". Adieu, dear Louvre, it was an incredible experience!

DESCRIPTION

Louvre Museum Private Tour

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR VISIT

As the largest museum in the world, covering 73,000 square meters across four levels, the Louvre can easily become overwhelming for many visitors. For this reason, having an organized route is essential for experiencing the most famous works of art within a reasonable timeframe. The Louvre private tour offers a personalized experience and an expert guide to lead you on a carefully planned journey. A knowledgeable guide will explain all of the cultural, political, and historical circumstances that have influenced art throughout the ages.

YOUR WALK THROUGH HISTORY

Can you imagine that you will actually walk through history? Exploring the grandeur of the Louvre, a magnificent palace that was, for some period, home to French royalty, is so impressive. Walking through its halls and galleries, try to feel how it was back in 1793, when the Louvre served as a royal residence, housing kings, queens, and emperors who shaped French history. The famous Napoleon Bonaparte is among the many influential figures who contributed to the Louvre. He was using it for imperial functions and as a residence during his reign. Napoleon had the ambition to create a large art collection that would represent the power of France. During his military conquests across Europe, he ordered many art collections to be impounded and transported to France. These works include key pieces of art from Italy, Flanders, and other European countries, which you will have the chance to see inside the famous museum.

AN EXCEPTIONAL HISTORICAL HERITAGE

The Louvre has nearly half a million objects on display - historical heritage from all over the world! When visiting the Louvre, you get a chance to see a rich collection of artworks - precisely, 35,000 of them. The Louvre is home to thousands of famous masterpieces, including the most famous painting in the world, the "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci. Her "roommate" is the largest artwork in the Louvre: "The Wedding Feast at Cana" by Paolo Veronese. You will also see the marble masterpiece "Venus de Milo", renowned for its beauty and recognized for its missing arms. The "Winged Victory of Samothrace" will capture your attention with its beauty and grandeur. This statue represents the goddess of victory, or Nike, lighting on the head of a warship. After you visit the Louvre Museum, you will understand why artists have come here for centuries to seek and find inspiration.
